David Thomas designed the first nine holes of Mar Menor Village Golf. It demands good strokes to put the ball in play. With hardly any rough, its greens are well protected by bunkers and by the lakes scattered around the course.
The second nine holes were designed by Nicklaus Design, which enjoys wide fairways. The spectacular lake around holes 13,14 and 15 deserves special mention, making the water the greatest obstacle to overcome. The rest of the holes are protected by strategic bunkers.
A good test of golf, yes, but one to be enjoyed by all standards.

The Hacienda Riquelme Golf golf course weaves is way through and around groves of olive trees, wildflower meadows, and large lakes. Taking advantage of the site's larger scale, the Hacienda Riquelme Golf features wider-than-average fairways allowing players plenty of room to play while creating numerous strategic options. The boldly contoured greens are sure to be the most talked about feature of the course. Many of the greens are broken into several sections by strong elevation changes making it crucial for golfers to play to the correct section of the green in order to set up the easiest putt possible. Additionally, the greens also feature numerous subtle random contours and rolls further complicating putting.
The unique bunkering creates a dramatic look sure to set Riquelme apart from other courses. Many of these large rugged bunkers are very deep with sand flashing in places up to three meters. The edges of the bunkers are cut in a jagged manner further adding to their distinctiveness while accenting the more rugged nature of the course.

lhama Signature Golf is located in the province of Murcia, in the town called Alhama. Alhama Signature Golf is an exceptional course that has been designed and signed in person by Jack Nicklaus. This long and spectacular course has been developed among five great lakes, with original circular tees, wide fairways with rough and rapid greens, 116 bunkers of particular and varied shapes with white silica sand, a paspalum semi-rough that acts as a transition grass between the fairway and the wide rough that defines all this set, to integrate it in a landscape that maintains all the indigenous flora and fauna which is typical of the nearby Sierra de Espuna, with pines, esparto grass, rosemary, thyme among other indigenous species from this area.
