Known as The Augusta of Europe this famous course designed by Pat Ruddy & Tom Craddock, opened in 1995. Just a year after opening, Druids Glen hosted the Irish Open for four years in a row. Colin Montgomerie won two years running, followed by David Carter and Sergio Garcia, shooting a 64 in the final round. Enjoy the tranquility of the mystical Druids Glen, with manicured tree-lined fairways, historical landmarks, spectacular water features and vibrant floral displays.

There are few places in the world that encapsulate the true spirit of the game of golf like Druids Heath. The Mountains, Sea and rolling Irish Countryside provide stunning vistas throughout your round. The sea breeze calls for shot-making skills and imagination from the golfer. Venue for the 2006 Irish PGA Championship, Druids Heath has played host to many leading Tour Players including double US Open Champion Retief Goosen, Sergio Garcia, Darren Clarke and Ian Poulter.


The bedrooms are designed for a sound nights sleep. Sink into one of the big luxurious beds and savour crisp cotton bed linen and a selection of comfortable pillows. For a more relaxed occasion, enjoy sampling the excellent menu in The Thirteeth Bar with its alpine-like feel and open fires. The menus are modern and simple allowing you to taste the very best of local Wicklow produce. Located adjacent to the 1st Tee at Druids Heath, a mere stroll from the front of the luxurious Druids Glen Hotel, is the Resort Driving Range and Practice Ground. Overlooking the Irish Sea with beautiful views from Greystones to Wicklow Head, it is said that your game will improve here without having to hit any shots at all In any case, the covered range, grass bays, bunker and putting greens provide an ideal place to practice your game. Getting there

Less than just thirty minutes south of Dublin, Druids Glen Resort is set in 400 acres of rolling countryside, nestled between The Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea.
Nearest airport: Dublin International Airport
Travel options: From Dublin Airport take the M1 then follow M50 Southbound. Proceed through toll area, continue to the end of the M50 motorway and follow the signs for M11-N11 WexfordSouth East M11 continues onto the N11 through Kilmacanogue Village, onwards through Glen O The Downs. Take the left turn signposted Newtownmountkennedy, the next left off the roundabout reaching a T Junction. Take a right and the next right at another T Junction. Take the next left and follow the signs.
