Meticulous attention to detail has been paid to clubhouse facilities, which are amongst the finest in Europe, make the game even more enjoyable. Both championship courses were designed by Robert E Cupp, one of Jack Nicklaus's course architects, with major championship golf in mind. It's no wonder that the club staged two European Opens and played host to some of the worlds leading players including Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal, Nick Price, John Daly and Ian Woosnam.

If you think the courses may sound a little advanced for you, don't worry, the East Sussex National cater for all abilities. You'll find that the driving range, three putting greens, the chipping green and Academy course will prepare you for anything you'll encounter on the main courses. In addition, professional tutors are on hand to assess, and to help you improve, your all round game.

Set over three levels, you'll find the hotel spacious but with a level of intimacy that will appeal to those who prefer the personal touch. The hotel has 104 bedrooms, including 10 luxury suites and two Bridal Suites. You'll find all rooms are tastefully dressed and include luxurious en-suite bathrooms with both a walk-in shower and bath.

Designed for comfort and convenience in equal measure, air-conditioning comes as standard, as does a wall-mounted flat screen LCD television and full Internet access. For those who wish to take in some of the stunning scenery, some rooms have their own balcony, and all have breathtaking views across the golf course.

Dine in style at East Sussex National in the stylish AA Rosette awarded open-plan restaurant Pavilion Restaurant, that boasts spectacular panoramic views across the famous golf courses and the South Downs.

The Huntington restaurant is set in a stunning location overlooking the finishing holes of East Sussex Nationals championship courses and the glorious South Downs. It is the perfect setting to enjoy the very best of carvery lunches complemented by fine wines, great service and a relaxing ambiance.

The Fore Restaurant seats up to 80 people for breakfasts, light lunches and fantastic buffets.
